Last weekend I attended a calligraphy class. In two days I learned the basics of Foundational.
The first foundational hand font was designed by Edward Johnston in the beginning of the XX century, and it was a modernisation of the English Caroline minuscule calligraphy of the X century.
It was a wonderful experience!
Thanks to Artexplora, who organized this course and to Pia Montagna, our fabulous teacher.
Here’s what I learned*
*thanks iMovie for this epic trailer-theme
Lots of handwritten love,
